Tim Mee PEOPLE Play Figures: Green and Putty Color 24pc Playset - Made in USA
From a time not so long ago and from a place that may or may not have existed, comes the quintessential nuclear family, forever frozen in plastic perfection. The Tim Mee PEOPLE at PLAY figure set is proudly manufactured in the United States, and includes 12 green and 12 putty color figures for maximum play value. Six different figures are included and the whole family is here: Classic Dad with his pipe and hammer, gardening Mom with her trowel and flower pot, Jr. casually tossing a football, Sis at cheerleader practice, Little Brother playing baseball with the family dog, and Little Sister jumping rope as her cat calmly supervises.
Figures stand up to 2.5 inches tall (54mm) and are about 1:35 to 1:32 scale. Made from slightly stiff HDPE plastic with crisp detail and almost no flashing. Originally produced by Processed Plastic (Tim Mee's parent company) in the 1970s, they are often referred to by collectors as Suburban Family Figures, People Play Figures, or just People Figures.
This idyllic family represents a bygone era of folks enjoying leisurely activities on a sunny afternoon, but they are incredibly versatile pieces for use in train layouts, dioramas or dollhouses. They'll fit into almost any playset alongside little green army men, space aliens, as B-Movie victims, zombie apocalypse survivors, or even dinosaur tourists. Packed in plastic bag with header card that features vintage advertising art depicting the ATOMIC FAMILY on the front and the POST ATOMIC FAMILY on the back.
These are real plastic toys, meant to be set up, knocked down, picked up and played with for years to come. Recommended for ages 5 and up.
