BMC WW2 Higgins Boat LCVP Landing Craft - 1:32 Vehicle for Plastic Army Men
From the BMC Toys AMERICAN HERO COLLECTOR SERIES, the small boat that helped win a big war: The HIGGINS BOAT LCVP LANDING CRAFT has lots of authentic detail and features a working ramp.
This boat is made from stiff, very durable, gray polypropylene plastic with almost no flashing. It measures 12.8 x 3.9 x 3.25 inches tall and is 1:32nd scale.
The Higgins Boat was designated as LCVP, which stands for Landing Craft Vehicle, Personnel. General Dwight D. Eisenhower declared the Higgins boat to have been crucial to the Allied victory. More than 20,000 were built during the war, and they were used in many of the amphibious landings that were crucial to winning the war in Europe and the Pacific.
BMC Toys was founded by Bill McMaster in 1991 and specializes in producing historically accurate plastic army men figures, playsets and accessories in the classic style of the 1950s and 1960s.
Packaged in plain polybag and recommended for ages 5 and up. The 2017 release features an all new optional sticker sheet.
